This general privacy policy published by The Next Flow (TNF) applies to content provided by and your use of the following apps:

What information we collect about you

We collect information about you when you provide it to us and when you use our apps, as further described below.

Information you provide to us

We collect information about you when you input it into the apps.

  • Profile information: When you login using your Facebook / Twitter account we collect your id, access token, full name / username and profile picture. As a registered Facebook / Twitter user, you are also subject to their privacy policies. We encourage you to carefully read their privacy policies. When you edit your profile we collect the information that you fill out (all the fields are optional): your birthday, gender, a location text (intended for a city or country) and a Facebook account name (intended for those who wish to receive Facebook friend requests from other app users). If you use your location coordinates to automatically fill the location field, we will not store these coordinates. We will only send them to an Apple / Google service to translate them into a city name that we will store.
  • Content you provide through the apps: When you post a text comment or a picture, or when you like, dislike or flag another comment, we collect and store this content.
  • Information you provide through our support channels:When you send us an e-mail or otherwise engage with our support team, you may choose to submit information regarding a problem you are experiencing with the apps. We only use this information to directly reply to the specific enquiry and for no other purposes. You may be asked to provide contact information, a summary of the problem you are experiencing, and any other documentation, screenshots or information that would be helpful in resolving the issue.

Information we collect automatically when you use the apps

We collect information about you when you use our apps.

  • Device Information: We collect information about the device you use to access the apps. This device information includes your operating system and version, a unique device identifier, an advertising identifier, a push token and crash data.
  • Cookies and Other Tracking Technologies: We and our third-party partners, such as our advertising and analytics partners, use cookies and other tracking technologies to provide functionality and to recognize you across different apps, websites and devices.

How we use information we collect

Below are the specific purposes for which we use the information we collect about you.

  • To provide the app features: We use information about you to provide the app features to you: authenticate you when you log in, provide customer support, and operate and maintain the apps.
  • To display personalized ads within the app: Our third-party advertising partners use information about you to personalize the ads that are displayed within the app based on previously collected or historical data to determine or influence ad selection, including previous search queries, activity, visits to sites or apps, demographic information, location or other criteria.
  • For research and development: We are always looking for ways to make our apps better, faster, secure, integrated, and useful to you. We use collective learnings about how people use our apps and feedback provided directly to us to troubleshoot and to identify trends, usage, activity patterns and areas for integration and improvement of the apps. We also test and analyze certain new features with some users before rolling the feature out to all users.
  • To communicate with you: We send you push notifications to inform you about app updates or to notify you when you are mentioned in someone else's comment. We also send you e-mails responding to your comments, questions and requests and providing customer support.
  • For Customer support: We use your information to resolve technical issues you encounter, to respond to your requests for assistance, to analyze crash information, and to repair and improve the apps.
  • For safety and security: We use information about you to verify accounts and activity and to monitor suspicious or fraudulent activity.
  • To comply with a legal obligation: We use information about you where required by law or where we believe it is necessary to protect our legal rights, interests and the interests of others.
  • With your consent: We use information about you where you have given us consent to do so for a specific purpose. If you have consented to our use of information, you have the right to change your mind at any time, but this will not affect any processing that has already taken place.

How we share information we collect

We do not sell, trade, or otherwise transfer to outside parties your personally identifiable information. This does not include trusted third parties who assist us in operating our apps, conducting our business, or servicing you, so long as those parties agree to keep this information confidential. We may also release your information to comply with the law or to protect ours or others rights, property, or safety. However, non-personally identifiable information may be provided to other parties for marketing, advertising, or other uses.

Sharing with other app users

When you use the apps, we share information about you with other app users.

  • Profile information: All the information shown in your profile is visible to all other app users so only provide the details that you feel comfortable sharing with the rest of the world.
  • Content you provide through the apps:All your text comments and pictures are visible to all other app users. Make sure to only post content that you feel comfortable sharing with the rest of the world. The number of likes and dislikes of every comment is also visible to all app users.

Sharing with third parties

We share information with third parties that help us operate, provide, improve, integrate, customize, support and market our apps.

  • Service Providers: We work with third-party service providers to provide website and application development, hosting, maintenance, backup, storage, virtual infrastructure, payment processing, analysis and other services for us, which may require them to access or use information about you. If a service provider needs to access information about you to perform services on our behalf, they do so under close instruction from us, including policies and procedures designed to protect your information.
  • Advertising Providers: We work with third-party advertising providers to display personalized ads within the apps.
  • Links to Third Party Sites / Apps: The apps may include links that direct you to other apps, websites or services whose privacy practices may differ from ours. If you submit information to any of those third parties, your information is governed by their privacy policies, not ours. We encourage you to carefully read their privacy policies.
  • Compliance with Enforcement Requests and Applicable Laws; Enforcement of Our Rights: In exceptional circumstances, we may share information about you with a third party if we believe that sharing is reasonably necessary to (a) comply with any applicable law, regulation, legal process or governmental request, including to meet national security requirements, (b) enforce our agreements, policies and terms of service, (c) protect the security or integrity of our products and services, (d) protect our customers or the public from harm or illegal activities, or (e) respond to an emergency which we believe in good faith requires us to disclose information to assist in preventing the death or serious bodily injury of any person.

How we store and secure information we collect

We use data hosting service providers in the United States and host the information we collect, and we use technical measures to secure your data.

We take precautions to protect all the information in our possession but no security system is impenetrable and due to the inherent nature of the Internet, we cannot guarantee that data, during transmission through the Internet or while stored on our systems or otherwise in our care, is absolutely safe from intrusion by others. Therefore, we are not liable from breaches to the security measures by unauthorized parties and of damages caused by the use of the information as consequence of the said breach.

How to access and control your information

You have the right to request a copy of your information, to object to our use of your information, to request the deletion or restriction of your information, or to request your information in a structured, electronic format. You may contact us as provided in the "Contact" section below to request assistance.

  • Access and update your information: Our apps give you the ability to access and update certain information about you. You can update most of your profile information from within the app. In order to update your full name / username and profile picture, you will need to update this information in your Facebook / Twitter account.
  • Request a copy of all information that we keep about you: If you wish, you can contact us as provided in the "Contact" section below to request a copy of all information that we keep about you.
  • Request that we stop using your information: You may ask us to stop accessing, storing, using and otherwise processing your information where you believe we don't have the appropriate rights to do so. For example, if you believe an account was created for you without your permission or you are no longer an active user, you can request that we delete your account as provided in this policy. Where you gave us consent to use your information for a limited purpose, you can contact us to withdraw that consent, but this will not affect any processing that has already taken place at the time.
  • Delete your account and the information about you: If you no longer wish to use our apps, you can contact us as provided in the "Contact" section below to request your account to be deleted.
